About the college

The College of Education in Kabao was established in 2011 as study halls affiliated with the College of Education in Nalut, University of the Western Mountain. It then joined the College of Education in Gharian, University of the Western Mountain, as study halls in 2013. In 2016, a decision was made to change the name of the study halls to the College of Education in Kabao. During that period, several departments were opened in the college, including the Computer Science Department, the English Language Department, the Biology and Mathematics Department, the Physical Education Department, the Physics Department, the Chemistry Department, and the Classroom Teacher Department. It remained affiliated with the University of the Western Mountain until 2017. During that year, the University of Nalut was established by a decision from the Presidential Council based on a memorandum from the Minister of Higher Education. In 2017, a decision was issued to establish the University of Nalut under the Ministry of Education according to Decision 606 of 2017, and the College of Education became one of the colleges affiliated with the university.

The College of Education in Kabaou has graduated many cohorts in various scientific disciplines, along with their academic programs and study systems at the undergraduate level.

The college strives, through its vision, goals, and mission, towards scientific advancement that meets the needs of the region and its diverse geographical scope in general, and to achieve continuous development to elevate the educational level of individuals across the country, and to push the wheel of scientific progress towards betterment.
